delvauxThe oldest leather goods house in the world has chosen the Fashion Capital for its first Italian opening, with a precious boutique located in Via Bagutta 12, in the heart of the famous Quadrilatero district inside the recently restored Palazzo Reina. The concept is characterised by an unusual mingling between details and elements of 20th century Milanese design and references to Belgium creativity. The boutique covers 200 square meters and is divided into a series of rooms of different sizes and aesthetic atmospheres: large spaces alternate with more intimate ones, where noble materials and neutral colours recall the delicate luxury and refinement of the Delvaux creations. The result is a distinctive place, created at the same time as a celebration of Delvaux, of “Belgitudine” and of the City of Milan.
The project was designed by the Milanese firm, Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, which has been responsible for the design of all the Delvaux boutiques in the world since 2012 (more than 40, including the last two in London and Hong Kong). A concept that uses the language of interior décor to tell the story of the brand using a narrative ability that interprets the context, characteristics and culture of each city. Each address corresponds to a unique boutique, in which the Delvaux universe gives life to an intimate, personal dialogue between the Maison’s creations and beautiful works of decorative art.
