High hopes for bags at the relaunching of the Russian marketFrom March 21st to 24th, Obuv Mir Kozhi was held in Moscow, an essential appointment for many companies, which have considered this event to be a launching pad in the past for their sales throughout the Russian territory
More than 130 Italian businesses were present also at this edition with the most prestigious “Made in Italy” footwear and leather goods brands working with this huge market. What was the outcome? The majority of Italian operators were satisfied with both the number of visits they received at their stands from Russian buyers and the quality of the buyers themselves. “Smiles have once again returned on their faces - was the unanimous consensus of all - and this can’t help but to be a good omen”. Signals of recovery are accordingly arriving from across the Russian territory, where the great crisis seems to have passed. A crisis, however, that left its mark, as there businesses shut up shop. The ones still present in this market are stable and well-structured today. The Russian buyer is once again in search of beautiful and elegant bags that are rich in details. Next edition will be from October 24th to 27th 2017.
