The brand could not have asked for a better celebrity sponsor in launching the new Lancel collections in Italy: Chiara Ferragni, the most famous fashion influencer worldwide, chose the Ninon bag of the historic French maison as her most trusted companion in accompanying her on her trip to Tokyo. A très chic small shoulder bag in lemon yellow, Ninon has become the protagonist of the Instagram stories of Chiara in the chapter dedicated to Japan.

Lancel, recently acquired by the Piquadro Group, boasts a tradition going back to 1876. Founded in Paris, it soon became an icon of style for cosmopolitan clientele of the Belle Époque. In 1929, the new Place de l’Opéra boutique became an institution for Parisians and Lancel bags were chosen not only by the divas of the Thirties but also by common fans of the brand. In the Seventies, Salvador Dalì’s appreciation for the brand was confirmed when he commissioned a special bag for his wife with the serigraphy of the “Daligramma”, the secret alphabet used by the artist to communicate with his beloved wife. To this day, Lancel is still located at Place de l’Opéra no. 8, with celebrities continuing to wear its bags and appreciate the absolutely original creativity resulting from the constant dialogue between the most refined craftsmanship and the brand’s wonderful archives of over 140 years of history.

In addition to the historic boutique, Lancel has 58 flagship stores in France, two in Italy, and one each in Spain, Russia, and China. With the opening of the Milan showroom, Lancel sets its sights on Italy as one of its most important markets, as seen also by the collaboration with Chiara Ferragni.
