The entrepreneur passed away on 13 April 2019 at the age of 94. “Many people showed up at his funeral in the church of Santi Ippolito e Cassiano in Olgiate Comasco, where friends, relatives and former employees were present and 13 priests and 2 deacons officiated,” commented his son Roberto, current president of the brand, “showing just what kind of a person he was. We talked about their collection with the two Chinese designers based in Milano. While working as a project manager for a Chinese company, Xuan took a group of technicians to ARSUTORIA school for the training course. There, she fell in love with the charm of leather, so, later on, she quit her job and took the bag making course at the Milanese school.
