Opening and collab for BIANCHI E NARDI 1946The historic Florentine brand founded after the end of World War II first got its start producing for leading designer luxury labels, to then follow in its third generation with a fashion line of its very own and is now becoming a must-have in the world of fashion.
During Pitti Uomo this past June, Bianchi e Nardi organised the official inauguration of its first flagship store. The new monobrand store located in via Vacchereccia 15 red, next to Piazza della Signoria, extends across a surface of 75 square metres and was designed by the Arcabiassociates studio. The store window, featuring carved wood, brass, pietra serena, and a titled glass window, takes its inspiration from the jewellery stores of Ponte Vecchio, while the inside layout imitates the interiors of the city’s most aristocratic palaces. The reoccurring octagonal pattern follows the graphics of the brand’s monogram, while the wooden display cases are conceived following the dictates of antique Florentine furnishings.
Among the bags presented was also the capsule collection developed in exclusive collaboration with the extremely talented Giannico – Nicolò Beretta – which features an iconic top handle made from the finest leathers and enveloped by a golden cage, a micro-bag that can be worn as a necklace or around the waist, and a mini shoulder bag, in a proposal that merges structured lines with luxurious leathers and a palette of striking colours. During the inauguration of the boutique, also the newborn proposal for men was presented with a doctor bag, a suitcase, a messenger bag, and small leather items made from the most exquisite materials like python, crocodile, ostrich and deerskin, some of those vegetable-tanned, and thus in line with the brand’s philosophy of eco-sustainability.
