Five thousand visitors attended the 14th edition of Inspiramais – Design and Innovation Exhibition held from 27 to 28 June at the new Pro Magno Events Center of São Paulo (Brazil).
The only South American event that manages to provide the most important information on the evolution of materials and components for the fashion manufacturing sector and that, edition after edition, offers information and innovative ideas to the industry. “The event is an important business platform that accompanies companies in their path of growth and puts them in a position to bring their products to different markets,” explained José Fernando Bello, CICB President.
The positive scenario of the industry is also demonstrated by the numbers associated with the Business Rounds initiative, which was able to bring together 10 international buyers from Mexico, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia: a series of meetings that immediately generated orders worth USD 500,000, while USD 2 million worth of orders are expected to be concluded in the long term.
Other important data: this year alone, fashion materials and components have already exported USD 84.9 million, an increase of 44.7% compared to 2015, thanks to Footwear Components by Brasil Project (cooperation between APEX Brazil and Assintecal, organizer of Inspiramais).
The opening of the fair also witnessed another important agreement signed between By Brasil Institute – IBB and the Footwear Industry Union of Birigui: IBB, partner of Assintecal, which will handle the 3D prototyping for the industry, thus encouraging the technological evolution applied to product development.
The next Inspiramais is scheduled for 16-17 January 2017, which will be dedicated to fashion products for the 2018 summer and winter.
