The “Sovrapposizioni” (Overlaps) collection by Donatella Brunello features a contemporary reworking of precious and refined fabrics in a game of material contrasts, three-dimensionality and overlaps. The collection aims to unite ancient and contemporary, and to make recontextualization an art based on the awareness of modernity.

Donatella Brunello’s passion for design originates from more than thirty years working in the design and creation of theatre scenography. Her first bag comes from the upcycling of a piece of curtain, and this is the philosophy of the brand, to reignite the memories and emotions of the past, which find a new life in the form of enchanting bags. Antique scarves, historic brocade and lampas fabrics return to splendour once again. The models are unique and unrepeatable as are the stories they tell, and are made by leather artisans according to the techniques of yesteryear.
