After having worked as an architect and interior designer Giulia Boccafogli, an Architecture graduate born in 1980, chose to follow her great passion: jewels and accessories. In 2012 she opened a study in Bologna together with the textile designer Emanuela Paradiso. One step at a time, she expanded also into foreign markets and opened her atelier in Como. Leather is the undisputed star of all her collections: mainly of Italian origin, it is carefully selected in order to guarantee the high quality of the finished product but, in order to avoid wastes, the leathers used come exclusively from discontinued stocks and “leftovers” of previous works. Each element is cut, stitched and assembled by hand, piece by piece, with constant care, passion and attention to detail. As a consequence the jewels are always different, even when they are replicated.
