WHITE 2017: success for the Men’s & Women’s formulaThe intuition and modernity of the concept, which focuses on previewing both women’s and menswear at the same time, sees WHITE hit the 10-thousand visitors mark
WHITE, the contemporary fashion tradeshow of the Milan City Council, has always been a reference point for menswear and previews of women’s collections. Visitor figures reflect the good direction taken by the tradeshow which, in January 2017, reached almost 10-thousand visitors (+18% overseas buyers), while Italian footfall remained relatively unvaried. In the spotlight: 270 brands, with 197 women’s collections, of which 63 were in the ONLY WOMAN area.
The calendar that animated the three-day show was particularly varied with a preview of the SUKETDHIR collection; the fourth Premio Ramponi award, and the opening of WHITE STUDIO – IT’S TIME TO CONTEMPORARY ARTISAN, which culminated in the Wood Wood fashion show/event (the Danish brand of Karl-Oskar Olsen and Brian SS Jensen), capturing visitors interest in its Northern European fashions with the REVOLVER INSIDE WHITE project, which is now on its second Milanese appointment.
“The notable results achieved by this year’s tradeshow demonstrate that we are heading in the right direction and drive us to do more and increasingly better things. The significant increase in overseas buyers is the result of a strategy, in collaboration with ICE – Agency, to promote the event through a successful international roadshow”
declared Massimiliano Bizzi, Founder and President of WHITE.
