The winners of the 2017 “Design a bag” competition are proclaimedChin Tak Chak was declared the final winner with the best Business Bag, and was also granted the possibility of attending a bag collection design course at the ARSUTORIA School in Milan.
Hong Kong – Yesterday, 30 March 2017, was the awards ceremony for “Design a bag”, the competition promoted by APLF – Fashion Access, in collaboration with the prestigious Italian design school ARSUTORIA.
Four categories were awarded this year:
- the best Business Bag designed by Chin Tak Chak from the Hong Kong Design Institute
- the Sport Bag of Vincent Chan from Best Wishes Creations in Hong Kong
- the Evening Bag of Nandhitha Katta from the Sri Chaitanya PU College in India
- the best Project Presented Online by Yenny Adriana Garces Hernandez from Columbia.
“Indiscriminate” is a business bag that expresses its design in a twist of aesthetics, functionality, and emotions.
Instead, for the world of cycling, we find a multifunctional backpack, with three layers that can be easily removed while on the go, without having to stop to do so.
The “Clip on” evening bag, which is made of leather and metal, also focuses on a multifunctional concept.
Finally, the “Square bag”, which was presented online, is inspired by objects with irregular shapes that are transformed into basic and functional lines.
Chin Tak Chak triumphed over the other three winners, and besides being granted access to the arstrend.com portal together with the other winners in each category (to surf the latest shoe and bag trends), he also won a special prize: a scholarship worth 3,500 euro, which will give him the right to attend the “Bag Collection Design Course” at the Italian fashion training school, ARSUTORIA.
