Overall winner among 30 finalists of the XXXIst Concorso Nazionale Professione Moda Giovani Stilisti of CNA Federmoda is Filippo Francia, winner of the Fur Section – organized in collaboration with AIP (Italian Fur Association) – in the competition that evaluates young fashion design students from all over Italy on the segments Clothing, Childrenswear, Knitwear, Fur, Underwear and Beachwear, Accessories and Footwear.
The student of the Nami Academy of Pescara (Pianeta Formazione) excelled with two fur proposals on the 30 young finalists who presented their creative proposals in the context of Altaroma, "for having chosen the simplest and most basic material and created transformed into a precious and elegant fabric, for lines and cut, for embroidery, for research and innovation, for attention to detail, for great creativity."
On the occasion, Senator Lucia Borgonzoni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture , awarded him the Medal of the President of the Republic.
The words of the National President of CNA Federmoda Marco Landi, the National Head of CNA Federmoda Antonio Franceschini and the Artistic Director of RMI Roberto Corbelli, underline the importance of supporting future designers through schools but also thanks to the availability, ability and passion of fashion operators and trade associations that carry on an artisan tradition and a wealth of professional skills of the Italian supply chain unmatched by any other country. In this context, the fur sector, with the coordination of AIP, has once again proved to be a valid support for young people and a very active player together with CNA for the future of the Italian style sector.
