The crisis set into motion by the Coronavirus has had a significant financial impact on the fashion and leather goods industry. In this moment of uncertainty, the international fair of leather goods would like to send a strong message by offering operators participating in the event, scheduled from 5 to 7 September, a comprehensive package of measures that allows for a significant reduction in costs: “We deliberately chose to not wait and see what will happen in the future, in the hope that things will improve. – declares Arnd Hinrich Kappe, Managing Director of Messe Offenbach – I do not think it is a good idea to sit back and wait to see what will happen! Right now, we would like to send a clear signal and offer anyone who is worried more certainty in making future plans”. The organisation of ILM would like to reward the loyalty of exhibitors who operated a stand at the March 2020 edition by offering them a 50% discount on renting their exhibition spaces, while new exhibitors
will instead receive a 20% discount. Moreover, all those who would like to rent a basic stand system, will receive a 50% discount. Even visitors will be able to visit the fair free of charge and take advantage of the free parking. Finally, ILM is negotiating special conditions with hotels and restaurants.
As far as the fair’s contents are concerned, ILM will renew its formula between tradition and zeitgeist, presenting a vast range of quality products in the segments of bags, travel, sports, and work. There will also be dedicated talks, special initiatives, and fashion shows dedicated to bags and world travel held in the Event Center.
