The Organising Secretariat of Simac Tanning Tech announces that the next edition of the exhibition will be postponed to the second half of 2021. While Lineapelle has moved from the traditional date of February to 23-24 March and will take place in synergy with the footwear and leather goods, bijoux and fur fairs (as part of the #strongertogether project) Simac Tanning Tech 2021, the exhibition of tanning, leather goods and footwear technology, has opted for a postponement to autumn so as not to jeopardise the incoming of international visitors. The announcement was made on last 25 November on the sidelines of the associative assembly of Assomac.
“Postponing the dates of the event – explain the organisers – was a proactive action with the aim of addressing the problems of the current world situation due to COVID-19, which would have inevitably heavily penalised visitors attending the event, especially those coming from non-European countries. We hope that the decision to identify a more favourable period for the event will guarantee better meeting opportunities for participants in a safe environment and where working machines can be exhibited, a peculiarity that has always characterised Simac Tanning Tech”.
While waiting for the “Back to the Fair” return of the traditional trade fair appointment, organisers will still be present at the next supply chain events with an institutional exhibition solution to offer an appropriate place to meet visitors and to keep the interest of the sector alive towards our event.
