The South Korean designer has chosen exclusively for the leading global fashion platform pre-loved, fifty of her favorite items and archival best-sellers, including the iconic Jamie Dress, the yellow dress with sleeves that launched the brand, the Sylvia bag with the twisted rope effect, the Greta dress in cotton poplin, the Nane bag characterized by the bow inspired by the traditional Korean gift box.
The result is "Future Collectables", an exclusive capsule collection of accessories and ready-to-wear pieces, which captures the colourful and casual aesthetic for which Pyo's work is loved: clean lines, graphic print and color blocking. The dresses are characterized by the presence of impressive details such as overlapping fabric, cut-outs or transparencies, which give a unique and playful twist to even the most minimal basics.
The collaboration between Vestiaire Collective and Rejina Pyo was born from sharing the same eco-conscious fashion philosophy, focused less on trends and more on a wardrobe made of pieces destined to last over time, designed to be handed down from mothers to daughters and granddaughters. For Fanny Moizant, one of the co-founders of Vestiaire Collective, the basic structure of a wardrobe should, in fact, consist of simple and classic garments that constitute the central elements of our style, to be superimposed with other more seasonal and trendy items that can be resold or exchanged. The goal is to create a "circular" wardrobe, with the possibility of buying pre-loved luxury pieces to give them a second, third or even fourth life.
