Delphina Burro was born from the creativity of the young fashion designer Silvia Villa, who began her career in the world of fashion and accessories in 2014, just after completing her studies in Fashion Design at NABA and the Fashion Institute. In a few years she collaborates with numerous brands, from which she acquires the value of Italian leather goods and workmanship, skills that will then bear fruit in her collection of bags.
The first collection of the new brand is called Priscilla, a line of accessories designed, designed and handmade in a laboratory in Milan, in the Porta Ticinese area, which uses leathers from tanneries and other raw materials exclusively made in Italy. There are six models in the Priscilla collection – Pink Shell, Ginkgo Leaves, Octanium Tail, Reef Plant, Purple Shimmer and Black Pearl – each with its own personality. The sinuous shapes that characterize the Priscilla collection take inspiration from the foaming waves of the sea, while the colours play with contrasts and intertwine with textures, giving each model distinctive details.
However, sustainability is at the heart of the Delphina Burrò philosophy: the leathers have the Gold Rated Tannery certificate, issued by Italian tanneries that reduce their impact the environment, polluting less during the production process and using recycled packaging and strictly nickel free metals.
